Hightlights from my portfolio:
Beximco Pharmaceuticals (LON:BXP) did the dirty on me and heaved up after I sold. I didn't spot the shake. Never mind.
Davis Service Group (LON:DVSG) had a weak start and then powered back over £4. We get closer to the investor day in November.
Jubilee Platinum (LON:JLP) price fell on FY results and I added as next year could be very interesting.
Haynes Publishing Group (LON:HYNS) reported weakness in Europe and signs of growth in US. This is the reverse of last year. I took a small loss on the chin. I bought last year for the dividend and recovery but I suppose in this day of the internet it's an outdated notion that people are going to buy a book to find out how to fix their car.
Lees Foods Plc (LON:LEE) ticked up a little; I just need to hold and I think, subject to rising commodity prices, it will deliver.
Monitise Plc (LON:MONI) another day, another contact. My buy was well timed.
Ortac Resources (LON:OTC) persuaded me to take a little profit. Sold roughtly 20%.
Ram Investment Group (LON:RAM) has won a super contract but the price remains rather obstinate. No matter; 2011/12 look to be rather exciting. Time will tell.
Weatherly International (LON:WTI) continues upwards, a well timed buy there too.
And that ends my H1. I start my year 6th April as it makes sense to follow the tax year for CGT/Dividends. I had a weakish 1st Qtr but a quite staggering 2nd QTR and am on targt for full year. So what's the target? Well, it's a sum of money that allows me to spend quite freely and still alllows me to end up with more money than I started. I think that's the best sort of target!
