EKF Diagnostics, the buy and build Point of Care (PoC) diagnostics company led by Julian Baines and David Evans, announced that it has completed the disposal of the Admiral sportswear brand for about £830,000 cash. £83,000 will be paid on completion, with the balance to be paid before the end of January 2011. EKF has raised c. £1.8 million in 2010 through the Admiral disposal. The proceeds from the disposal will be used to support the current diagnostics business.
