Highlights from my portfolio 08/02/11

Andor Technology (LON:AND) - I sold after a Director but the price hasn't gone down. I'm not yet back in but watching closely.

Avacta Group (LON:AVCT) is moving up. I think it has been mentioned here: http://www.aimzine.co.uk/NewsEmail/Feb2011.htm

Carclo (LON:CAR) dipped a little after profit taking but made a strong move up today, I am not sure why.

Cairn Energy (LON:CNE) has been weak, Indian decision weighs on the price.

Diamondcorp (LON:DCP) moved up strongly and I have taken profits. Hope to buy back on any dips. Diamond prices are strong so all looking good there.

First Artist (LON:FAN) moved up after I bought it but has slipped a little today. I stick with it.

Firestone Diamonds (LON:FDI) - I have bought back as recent news that they are ahead of schedule can only be good.

Central China Goldfields (LON:GGG) has been a star for the past few days. The Australian listing has lifted the price and grades are looking comfortable. I hope more to come.

HRX (Canada) motors ahead.

IEnergizer (LON:IBPO) chart looks like a staircase. A nice move today.

Medusa Mining (LON:MML) slipped back a bit but I continue to hold

Nyota Minerals (LON:NYO) - I bought after the pullback but sold today as the drilling results did not please the market. I will sit and watch for now.

Range Resources (LON:RRL) has lept up again.

Specialist Energy Group (LON:SEGR) has been a complete star, rising on news of £5.9m of new contracts. That fall end Jan was a great opportunity.

Senior (LON:SNR) is moving back towards 160.

£SL. - I took a chart breakout trade

Trifast (LON:TRI) a bit disappointing but it tends to move in fits and starts.

Vectura Group (LON:VEC) looks like it is about to move up after pullback so I have bought.

Vatukoula Gold Mines (LON:VGM) is looking stronger now.

Weatherly International (LON:WTI) announced they are now back in production and have forward sold another 10% of their copper, making 20% forward sold in total. They plan to forward sell another 15%. After what happened in 2008 I think this makes perfect sense. I am hopeful that the price will double in the next 12 months.

Shorts on Punch Taverns (LON:PUB), Partygaming (LON:PRTY), Old Mutual (LON:OML)
