International Boat Industry article highlights Morocco and Australia mandating AIS. In particular Australia has mandated that all motorised craft over 15 feet must carry at least class B AIS transponders.
The article goes on to say that SRT is "...hitching a ride on a rocket."

This co has huge potential because it combines most of the features needed to sustain growth but at the end of the day its best advert is a rising share price.
This is not going to happen in current markets with everyone running for cover to the large quality stocks but I spent 30 plus years in the City trying to understand the irrational behaviour of the market and was witness in the early 70s to the formation of one of the first unit trusts to concentrate on smaller cos.
I concluded a good little one will always beat a good big one but patience is required following meticulous research into the co remembering it is 90% perspiration and 10% inspiration.
Just consider SRT has cutting edge technology driven management under ST WITH A LARGE STAKE in the co.
They are selling a quality product through anonymous agents in both old and new markets which is in demand worldwide and it bothers me not that their names are not disclosed as they know local markets and probably don't want their margins to be disclosed.
Its cash generative and under the radar of 99.9% of investors but with supportative quality institutional investors.
I am not a genius make mistakes like everyone and don.t know what will trigger the share price rerating but have put my money where my mouth is and will watch and wait
So for the immediate future.study every word at the AGM and Tucker'.s next video broadcast and see which of the two basic feelings in the market is felt FEAR or GREED !!
I'm with you jenmac99 - SRT is well undervalued imho.
Latest news is that the USA are completing their mandate by the year end & ships will have 7 - 9 months to comply, this covers 27000 vessels using class A which could be worth $40m at high margins.
Also India is finally getting on with its AIS network with the mainland to be completed in 12 months & islands a further 6 months, http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/3-yrs-after-26/11-govt-to-kick-start-coastal-radar-chain/articleshow/9950620.cms their mandate covers 300,000 class B vessels which dependent on product mix should amount to around $60m revenue again at high margins.
Obviously DYOR but this is gathering momentum as mandates become active & will not be in the 30s much longer.
The SP is disappointing at 22.5p but the bad news is out of the way and the company is now well placed to move forward as more mandates give rise to sales this year and next. Indeed the company estimates that some one million vessels need to fit either AIS Class A or class B or an identifier (SRT is the only worldwide supplier) over the next 3 years. SRT can supply the latest and best in class products so this looks an ideal time to buy the shares. Last years results only showed turnover of £6m but this year seems to have the potential to be a lot higher. Have a listen to the company's recent web cast for more details.
