It's a useful feature to be able to edit posts. After a while the edit button disappears. Is it simply timed? Retrospective analysis of predictions including "professional" economists, bankers, politicians or commentators shows they are no better than chance. And the reason is the economy is simply too complex, non-linear or chaotic to model----so in that sense it doesn't matter how many or how few indicators you look at - you can't generate a reliable prediction. The gyrations you refer to are typical of these sorts…
I don't deny there are some solutions for some problems for example fast breeder nuclear fission and nuclear fusion. They aren't going to solve the other raw material problems or have much of an impact in the next 20 years. What did you have in mind?

Mark Looks like you've done well hanging on to your shorts....I closed mine far too early (in retrospect). Thinking I'd actually cash in some of the nice gains. Bugs
Tried the advanced charts but some Java problem - sounds like it could be the same issue. Will just have to manage the old-fashioned way. Left my bets open - will see what happens - really can't see the spread much wider for reasons we discussed before. Anyway will open more bets if it does move a bit further apart. B.
