Thanks Dave, I really enjoyed this event, it was excellent.
For people who haven't been along to a Mello event, I cannot recommend it strongly enough - people are very friendly, welcoming to newcomers, and we all get to know each other & it's a bit like a gathering of the clan!
Also, there is always something to talk about, as you can just discuss the last presentation with anyone else.
Cheers,
Paul.
I very much agree with Paul. It was my first Mello Central, and the presentations were very interesting, I was made to feel very welcome, and the food and wine was very good and plentiful.
Big thanks to David for organising and to finnCap for the hospitality.
Steve
Likewise from me!
Thanks to Dave & to Victoria of finnCap. Great to see everyone at the event - including a new slimline version of Hallucigenia. :0) Richard Kellett-Clarke was on good form & had a fascinating chat about solar power, electric & hydrogen fuelled vehicles with him over the buffet afterwards.
Pleased to report that I've got over 50 people registered to attend the ShareSoc tech seminar (same venue, 5:30pm start of registration, 20th March, Escher Group (LON:ESCH) , Deltex Medical (LON:DEMG) , dotDigital (LON:DOTD) presenting + bonus presentations from ShareSoc's Roger Lawson on tech. investing and from the Stockopedia crew on fundamentals of the presenting companies). David sets a high bar for us to reach but we'll do our best to pass it and deliver an equally informative and enjoyable event. I do have a secret weapon in that we'll be treated to Carmen's very own catering... those that have sampled her culinary skills before will know we're in for a treat!
Don't forget that you must pre-register for this event to gain admittance, in order to control numbers and ensure catering etc is properly sized. If you haven't registered yet, you can do so here: http://www.sharesoc.org/techseminar.html
Cheers,
Mark
