I have heard of companies ringing up shareholders when important EGM votes are upcoming, especially if they think the vote might be close. So probably the same with Sprue - they want to drum up support, so are getting on the phone to shareholders.

They are clearly trying to mobilise support and given that I don't hold a huge portion it's interesting that they wanted to get my vote.
Is this normal for a smaller company?
Thanks in advance

I took one look at it and then discounted it. Why? Not because of fundamentals, but because it is an engineering company. By definition, engineering companies have projects. They need to keep winning new projects to make profits. Thus, they have no recurring earnings.
I'm sure i read a blog from you less than a week ago saying that you must focus on companies with recurring earnings.
Any company exposed to the resource sector is now worth avoiding. Australia is worth avoiding.
Anyway, good luck with kentz.

re.
