Total Revenue represents revenue from all of a company?s operating activities after deducting any sales adjustments and their equivalents.
Net sales equivalents from all industries are aggregated into Total Revenue for cross-sector comparison as following: i) Revenue for industrial and utility companies, ii) Total Premiums Earned, Net Investment Income & Realized Gains (Losses) for insurance companies and iii) Interest Income for banks and iv) Other Revenue, Total (operating revenue other than the main operations).
