Oct 05th 2012 - Edison Investment Research today published a report on Ortus VCT (ORT.L, LSE:ORT, LON:ORT) entitled "Increasing Potential". In summary, the report says:
Orbite Aluminae is making significant progress in the development of a smelter-grade alumina (SGA) plant to process aluminous clay using its proprietary process at its Grande-Vallée property in Quebec. In September, Orbite was granted a 20-year mining lease for its Grande-Vallée deposit and confirmed it is ahead of schedule on construction of the Cap-Chat high-purity alumina (HPA) plant, due to start production in Q113. Orbite continues to reinforce its green credentials, having recently developed its proprietary clean process technology to produce alumina from fly ash, a waste product from coal-fired thermal power plants, as well as red mud.
