International Greetings has announced several new character licences: more positive newsflow after the update earlier this month about extended distribution in the US. Overall markets undoubtedly remain difficult, but the updates confirm that modest top line progress is achievable despite the headwinds. With manufacturing efficiencies following from the capital investment coming through and further gains pencilled in for FY14, credibility is being gradually rebuilt, which should in turn help rebuild the rating.
