Oct 26th 2012 - Edison Investment Research today published a report on North Sea Energy entitled "New Blocks Add Exploration Upside". In summary, the report says:
North Sea Energy, in partnership with Alan Booth’s (ex-Encore) new oil company Encounter Oil, has been successful in its application for three blocks 13/24c, 13/25 and 14/29b. This first tranche of awards potentially offer material upside, given the blocks’ proximity to existing oil and gas discoveries. Assuming a full award is confirmed, this will fit well into the existing portfolio and replace the licences that may be relinquished in January 2013.
