On 26 September 2012, Afferro released reconnaissance drilling results from its Ntem exploration permit in Cameroon. The company’s first target within the Ntem permit area, FeO8, remains open at depth and with possible strike extensions to the west. The first phase of reconnaissance drilling consisted of 34 drill holes totalling 3,200m, with mineralisation occurring in 90% of the holes. Results warrant further exploration on this new greenfield discovery and the company is planning more drilling in order to quantify an initial resource.
