We visited Oshkosh’s facilities in Wisconsin and witnessed firsthand the impact of the group’s MOVE strategy, which underpins progress towards a target of doubling EPS by 2015. With Q1 results demonstrating sustained progress, we feel 2013 will prove to be a transformational year. While the full impact of sequestration is yet to be fully played out, the flexibility Oshkosh has built into operations, coupled with the prospect of wider recovery in non-defence divisions, provides us with reassurance that further progress will be made.
