Revenues reflect Turnover increase of 26% to L628.6M. Aberdeen Asset Management PLC is an international asset management company investing across the four main asset classes of equity, fixed income, property and alternative investment strategies. The Company operates in 23 countries. It has reorganized the Aberdeen Private Equity Fund, which is its private equity investment vehicle. The Company’s business is the management of financial assets for third parties. Its key clients include national and corporate pension funds, central banks and other investment institutions. It is a property asset manager in Europe and manages assets in Europe, Asia and North America. It deals with third party clients, mostly with a background in institutional investment, such as life insurance and pension funds. It offers a range of direct property, pooled funds and multi-manager property investment products for clients worldwide. In May 2013, Aberdeen Asset Management Plc completed the acquisition of Artio Global Investors Inc.
