FINANCIAL BRIEF: For the six months ended 31 August 2012, Advanced Computer Software PLC revenues increased 20% to L56.8M. Net income before extraordinary items increased 44% to L3.9M. Revenues reflect an increase in demand for the Company's products and services due to favorable market conditions. Advanced Computer Software Group plc is a provider of patient management software solutions for the healthcare sector, and back office solutions for businesses and organizations in both the public and private sectors. It has three divisions: Health & Care division, which sells technology solutions to the National Health Service and private sector including patient workflow management and case management for social care providers, mobile applications for care in the community and rostering applications for social care settings; Business Solutions division provides accounting, payroll, human resources and document management solutions to range of companies across the public and private sectors, at enterprise or mid-market level. Its 365 Managed Services division supports its software portfolio in addition to providing managed services.In September 2012, it acquired Strand Technology Limited. Effective March 8, 2013, it acquired Computer Software Holdings Ltd.
