FINANCIAL BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 31 December 2012, Aer Lingus Group Plc revenues increased 8% to EUR1.39B. Net income decreased 52% to EUR34M. Revenues reflect Passenger segment increase of 9% to EUR1.16B, Load Factor, Total - % increase of 3% to 77.7%. Aer Lingus Group Plc together with its subsidiaries, operates as an Irish airline company primarily providing passenger and cargo transportation services from Ireland to the United Kingdom and Europe (short haul) and also to the United States (long haul). As of December 31, 2011, the airline operates 43 aircraft and carries on average 10 million passengers per annum. It sells seats on its scheduled services to various government bodies. The Company is the ultimate parent company in the Aer Lingus group. The principal group companies are Aer Lingus Limited, Aer Lingus Beachey Limited, Aer Lingus (Ireland) Limited and Dirnan Insurance Company Limited all of which are wholly owned. Aer Lingus Limited is the principal operating company.
