Artemis Alpha Trust plc is an investment trust company. Its investment objective is to achieve above average rates of total return over the longer-term and to achieve a growing dividend stream. Its investment policy is to invest mainly in the United Kingdom and selected international equities, with the potential for investment in limited liability hedge funds, cash and bonds, unquoted investments, derivative instruments and other investments and securities as appropriate. It will not invest more than 15% of its gross assets in securities issued by other United Kingdom listed investment companies, including investment trusts. It invests in various sectors, which include oil and gas producers, food producers, travel and leisure, aerospace and defense, and general retailers. Artemis Artemis Investment Management LLP is the Company's investment manager. The Company holds 100% of Alpha Securities Trading Limited, its subsidiary.
