Clean Energy Brazil PLC (CEB) is a United Kingdom-based closed-end investment company. The Company’s investment objective is to invest in Brazil’s sugar and ethanol industries. As of April 30, 2010, the Company had 33% interest in Unialco MS Participacoes SA. The Company has investments in Pantanal, Agua Limpa and Unialco-MS. The Pantanal project is a greenfield site controlled by Clean Energy Brazil, located in Sidrolandia, in the Mato Grosso do Sul state. Agua Limpa is a greenfield development, which is located in Santa Fe de Goias, in the Goias state. Unialco-MS is a holding company which controls Alcoolvale (92% owned) and Dourados (80% owned). Its subsidiaries include CEB Unicorn S.a.r.l., CEB Unialco S.a.r.l., CEB Pantanal S.a.r.l., CEB Agua Limpa S.a.r.l, CEB Sigma Participacoes Ltda., Pantanal Agro Industrial Ltda., CEB Brasil Planejamento Empresarial Ltda. and CEB Omega Participacoes Ltda. In May 2010, it sold, wholly owned subsidiary, Pantanal Agro Industrial (CEB Pantanal).
