De La Rue plc is engaged in the design and production of over 150 national currencies and a range of security documents, including passports, driving licenses, authentication labels and tax stamps. In addition, the Company manufactures cash sorting equipment. It also offers a range of specialist services and software solutions, including government identity schemes, product authentication systems and cash management processing solutions. The Company’s operating segments include Currency and Solutions. Solutions consist of three operating units which include cash processing solutions, security products and Identity systems. Currency provides printed banknotes, banknote paper and banknote security features. Cash Processing Solutions focuses on the production of sorters for central banks. Security Products produces security documents, including authentication labels. Identity Systems is involved in the production of passports and driving licenses and voter registration schemes.
