Electronic Data Processing PLC is a supplier of technology Software Solutions. These include enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions for the merchanting/wholesale distribution Industry, e-business, application hosting and sales intelligence solutions together with a range of customer support and education services. The Company has two products groups: software applications for distributors and merchants, which includes Quantum VS, and Vecta, its sales intelligence product. The Company’s Quantum VS is a graphical software application for distribution businesses. The sectors it addresses include builder’s merchants, timber merchants, suppliers of fixing and fastenings, security products and electrical wholesalers. On December 11, 2012, it completed the disposal of its surplus freehold office in Bellshill, Scotland to the trustees of the GIK SSAS.
