Frontier Resources International Plc (Frontier) is engaged in oil and gas exploration and production. Frontier is an exploration and production company with producing properties in Texas and exploration acreage in Namibia and Zambia. The Company is focused on Africa and the Middle East. Its subsidiary, Frontier Resources International Inc. (FRII), has a 49.5% interest in Bison Investments II Limited (Bison), which holds a portfolio of producing oil and gas properties in Texas, the United States. In March 2011, it got an exploration license, PEL 004, covering Block 34, in the Republic of Zambia. The block covers an area of approximately 6,427 square kilometers and is located in the Kafue Trough 150 kilometers southwest of the capital Lusaka. On January 20, 2012, it was granted Petroleum Exploration for two blocks, 1717 and 1817 covering 18,000 square kilometers. In November 2012, it sold its onshore Texas assets to Gardner Energy Corporation and Pandale Land and Minerals Co. LLC.
