Hyder Consulting PLC is a holding company for the Hyder Consulting group of companies. The Company is a multinational design and engineering consultancy offering infrastructure, property, and environmental solutions. It had created designs worldwide, including the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Cairo wastewater scheme and London’s Tower Bridge amongst many others. Its business is managed through three regions: Asia-Pacific (Australia and Asia), the Middle East, and Europe (the United Kingdom and Germany). It operates three design centers: a design center in the Philippines, a center in India, and in Bulgaria. On February 15, 2012, the Company acquired SAK Engineering Consultants in Saudi Arabia. On March 1, 2012, the Company acquired GW Engineers Limited, a resources consultancy in Australia. On December 17, 2012, it acquired BCH Engineering Consultants Pty Ltd. On December 19, 2012, it acquired Power Systems Project & Consultancy Services Ltd.
