FINANCIAL BRIEF: For the six months ended 30 September 2012, MBL Group plc revenues decreased 9% to L7.3M. Net loss before extraordinary items increased 31% to L1.1M. Revenues reflect Windsong segment decrease of 31% to L3.7M, MBL direct segment decrease of 30% to L1.4M, Other segment decrease of 20% to L74K. MBL Group plc is engaged in the distribution of audio, visual and other entertainment products. It segments include Distribution, Wholesale, Digital / Ecommerce, Retail and Other. The Distribution segment includes distribution, merchandising and sale of home entertainment products (primarily pre-recorded films, music and computer and console games) to general retailers. The Wholesale segment sells home entertainment products to specialist independent and Internet retailers. The Digital / Ecommerce segment is engaged in digital distribution of home entertainment titles and the sale of home entertainment products to the end consumer through Internet. The Retail segment sells home entertainment products through retail stores. Other segment consists of revenue streams from, including the acquisition or license of film and music rights for manufacture, sale and download. On February 1, 2011, it acquired 100% interest in Megafit Limited and Gamesfan Limited.
