FINANCIAL BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 31 December 2012, Mears Group PLC revenues increased 15% to L679.5M. Net income increased 16% to L19.6M. Revenues reflect Social Housing segment increase of 22% to L504.7M, Domiciliary Care segment increase of 4% to L112.6M. Mears Group PLC (Mears Group) is a holding company. The principal activities of the Company are the provision of a range of outsourced services to the public and private sectors. The Company operated in three business segments: social housing, which provides a full repair and maintenance service to local authorities and other registered social housing landlords in the United Kingdom; domiciliary care, which provides personal care services to people in their own homes and mechanical and electrical (M&E), which consists of provision of design and build M&E services. The subsidiaries of the Company are Mears Limited, Haydon Mechanical & Electrical Limited, Scion Technical Services Limited, Scion Estate Limited, Jackson Lloyd Limited, Terraquest Solutions Limited and Mears Care Limited. In August 04, 2011, the Company acquired Supported Living division of Choices Care Community Services Limited. In November 2012, the Company acquired Morrison Facilities Services Limited.
