Profile Summary
Nanoco Group plc is a United Kingdom-based company engaged in the research, development, licensing, and large-scale manufacturing of nanomaterials for use in various commercial applications. The Company develops and manufactures cadmium-free quantum dots and other specific nanomaterials originating from its technology platform. Its products include CFQD quantum dots, VIVODOTS nanoparticles, and HEATWAVE quantum dots. CFQD quantum dots are its core technology, consisting of fluorescent semiconductor nanoparticles between 10 and 100 atoms in diameter, which is about 1/1000th the width of a human hair. VIVODOTS nanoparticles can be used for medical and veterinary applications, such as diagnostic imaging and phototherapy, and potentially for targeted drug delivery. HEATWAVE quantum dots are designed for use in the sensor industry to extend the range of complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors out into the near infrared (NIR) range of wavelengths.

The PE ratio (or price-to-earnings ratio) is the one of the most popular valuation measures used by stock market investors. It is calculated by dividing a company's price per share by its earnings per share.
The PE ratio can be seen as being expressed in years, in the sense that it shows the number of years of earnings which would be required to pay back the purchase price, ignoring inflation. So in general terms, the higher the PE, the more expensive the stock is.
