New Europe Property Investments plc (NEPI) is a commercial property company. The investment portfolio is focused on Romania. The Company operates in three segments: Retail segment, which acquires, develops and leases retail properties; Office segment, which acquires, develops and leases offices, and Industrial segment, which acquires, develops and leases industrial facilities. As at December 31, 2011, the office portfolio consisted of 19 properties with a weighted rentable area of 77,724 square meters. The industrial portfolio consists of a 23,000 square metre industrial property in Rasnov, Romania and a 4,800 square meter logistics property in Bucharest, Romania. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Company acquired the remaining 7,000 square meter gross leasable area galleria linked to the Retail Park Auchan Pitesti. During 2011, it acquired a 4,400 square meter land plot located in Bucharest. City Business Centre in Timisoara was acquired in January 2012.
