It operates in the United Kingdom, Europe, United States, Canada and Bermuda as owners and managers of insurance companies in runoff, as underwriting managers for active insurers, as purchasers of insurance receivables, as managers of insurance captives and as consultants to the non-life insurance market. In November 2012, the Company acquired Capstan Insurance Company Limited. In December 2012, the Company acquired LINPAC Insurance Company Limited.
