TalkTalk Telecom Group PLC is engaged in fixed line voice and broadband telecommunications businesses in the United Kingdom. As of March 31, 2012, it had approximately 3.755 million customers customers on its network. The Company’s revenue is generated through broadband, non-broadband and corporate products. Broadband and non-broadband consists of consumer and business customers that receive similar services. As of December 31, 2011, the Company had 20.7 million household broadband connections in the United Kingdom. The Company holds 14.3% interest of YouView TV Limited. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2012 (fiscal 2012), the Company launched its first next generation access (NGA) product, a fibre optic Boost that delivers download speeds of 15-40 megabits per second ( Mbps) for its customers. On July 5, 2011, the Company disposed off its Valuecall operations. During fiscal 2012, it acquired Executel Limited and Greystone Telecom Limited.
