Uranium Resources (URA)

Uranium Resources Plc, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the exploration of uranium in Tanzania. The Company’s projects are explored in tandem with Indago Resources Ltd (IDG), which has earned 60% interest in seven tenements at the Mtonya Project and three tenements at the Ruhuhu Project. Its primary 1,200 square kilometers project, Mtonya, is located 100 kilometers east of the district capital of Songea. It consists of Usagaran orogenic basement rocks in the west and sediments of the Luwegu Sub-basin of the Selous Basin in the east. Its Ruvuma project is located in southern Tanzania of 9,589 square kilometers. The Ruhuhu tenement is located in southwest Tanzania. On January 12, 2010, it acquired WML Uranium Holdings Limited and Western Metals Tanzania Limited. On January 12, 2010, it acquired IDG’s joint venture interests. On October 11, 2010, the Company completed phase I of drilling program, which consists of three diamond core drill holes for a total of 1,512 meters.
