WH Ireland Group plc engaged in the provision of stockbroking, wealth management and corporate finance advice, research, products and services to individuals and institutions. The Company operates in four segments: Private Clients, which offers investment management and stockbroking advice and services to individuals; Wealth Management, which contains its Independent Financial Advisory business, giving advice on and acting as intermediary for a range of financial products; Capital Markets, which provides corporate finance and corporate broking advice and services to companies, and Secondary Trading, which contains its Institutional Sales and Research business, which carries out stockbroking activities on behalf of companies. On May 20, 2011, it disposed its entire interest in WHI Australia Pty Limited. On February 15, 2013, the Company through its subsidiary, WH Ireland Ltd acquired the private wealth management business and related assets from Tenebris Realisations Ltd.
