Broadly, “value“, buy cheap and wait for value to be recognised. I pay more attention to sector and macro considerations than a lot of value investors. I believe that peak oil is coming, sooner rather than later, meaning oil stocks are cheap.

I have a weakness for buying into new inventions too early. Big paper losses to the bear, but may yet come good?
