Investment strategy

As a UK expat for over 7 years I don't have to worry about Capital Gains. I therefore prefer to invest for capital growth in share price in preference to dividends, on which I still have to pay UK tax. My total investment portfolio is split into three sections: A managed/discretionary account run by my stockbroker; an account which I manage myself and an ISA account which I also manage myself. Currently (as at  21-02-2011), my broker manages about 30% of my total portolio. My investment strategy is flexible depending on geopolitical circumstances but usually is 25% low risk, 60% medium risk and 15% high risk.  The current situation in the Mid-East is worrying as is BP's situation in Russia. I'm thinking I might sell-off my relatively small oil shares as they've moved from low to medium risk to high risk in the space of a few weeks.
