Extension of contract with Microsoft

De La Rue plc ("De La Rue") is pleased to announce that it has signed a
five-year renewal of its contract with Microsoft for the supply of innovative
authentication solutions to Microsoft's OEM, Retail and Xbox channels.  This
extends the relationship between the two companies out to 2029.

Under the contract, De La Rue will supply solutions to Microsoft partners
around the world, delivering innovative brand protection through unique
physical and digital technologies, while continuing to reduce carbon
footprint.

Dave Sharratt, Managing Director, Authentication, at De La Rue commented, "We
