MACQUARIE KOREA INFRASTRUCTURE FUND

CANCELLATION of listing and trading
of Global depositary RECEIPTs from the london stock exchange

Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund ("MKIF") has applied for the cancellation ofitsGlobal Depositary Receipts representing MKIF's ordinary shares (ISIN: US5560822042) (the "GDRs") from admission to the Official List (the "Official List") of the UK Listing Authority and from trading on the Professional Securities Market (the "PSM") of the London Stock Exchange (the "LSE")(the "Delisting").1

The GDRs were initially issued at the time of its initial public offering (the "IPO") in March 2006 primarily as a mechanism for international investors to subscribe to the IPO. Today, most of the GDRshave been converted to MKIF's ordinary shares on the Korea Exchangewhere there is a significantly higher trading.2

Having considered the costs and benefits associated with maintaining the listing of the GDRs on the Official List and admission to trading on the PSM, MKIF has decided to submit a request to cancel the listing and trading of its GDRs.MKIF foresees no adverse effects on its share price or trading of the ordinary shares as a result of the Delisting. The ordinary shares of MKIF will continue to be listed and trade on the Korea Exchange.

The Delisting is expected to be effective on 24 March 2016, subject to LSE approval. A further announcement confirming the Delisting will be made accordingly. The depositary bank of the GDRs will separately contact and remain in communication with the holders of the GDRs to provide further information about the Delisting process.
