DCC plc is a sales, marketing, distribution and business support services company. It operates in five segments: DCC Energy, which markets and sells oil products for transport, aviation and home heating use in Britain, Ireland and Continental Europe; DCC SerCom, which is a distributor of information technology, communications and home entertainment products in Britain, Ireland and France; DCC Healthcare, which provides sales, marketing, distribution and services to medical device and pharmaceutical companies in hospital and homecare markets; DCC Environmental, and DCC Food & Beverage. In July 2012, it disposed of its interest in DCC SerCom's Enterprise distribution business. In December 2012, it acquired Statoil Fuel & Retail ASA's industrial LPG business in Sweden and Norway. In February 2013, it acquired Kent Pharmaceuticals (Holdings) Limited.
