Eurasia Mining Plc is an international mineral exploration company. The Company is engaged in the mineral exploration for platinum group metals (PGMs), gold and other minerals in Russia. As of December 31, 2011, the Company was evaluating several gold targets in Eastern Russia and was focused on the ongoing advanced exploration projects: Urals Alluvial project - West Kytlim license, and Kola peninsula - Monchetundra license. On its Urals Alluvial project - West Kytlim license, it is working in joint venture with its partner Anglo Platinum. During the year ended December 31, 2011, it continued to add new areas of alluvial platinum resources through ongoing drilling, pitting and bulk sampling. The Company continues to pursue other opportunities in Russia, particularly gold in the Far East.
